Episode 1:
Love is not about saying it, it is about doing it

Sophie and David chat about the golden rule in life; which is to take care of yourself. Your first obligation is to self, so you may take care of and love others.

Following the rules of caring for yourself is a necessity. Your body is a miracle and built like a machine, when you honor it and take good care of yourself physically and mentally, you run at your optimum. In order to avoid stress and anxiety, you need to realize that problems do not exist, it is about finding solutions.

Teaching this to your children at a young age, along with gratitude and sense of security is what breeds awareness and appreciation.

Episode 2: Are you living with the brakes on?

If you had to live your life over again, what would you do? David shares about a profound moment he had in his life when his son asked why he lives life with the brakes on, and how this lead him to take more risks. Whereas Sophie, shares living life without brakes and how it became reckless. Together, this father and daughter chat is enlightening as they open up about their true passions in life.

Episode 3: Acquiring Confidence

I love talking about confidence as it assists the practice of learning to love yourself. Self confidence allows you to believe in yourself, your worth and the power of your own self love. If you trust and believe in yourself, your feelings about yourself struggle to gain merit. In this episode, I dive into confidence with Dad and ask the questions; while having to put yourself “out there” in order to find the success you have, where did your confidence come from. Tune into this episode to find out what my Dad shares about confidence and how it affects your self esteem and how it relates to how you self love. I’ll leave you with this thought as you tune into this episode; “Motivational speaker, David Schwartz, once wrote, “All confidence is acquired, developed. No one is born with confidence. Those people you know who radiate confidence, who have conquered worry, have acquired their confidence, every bit of it.”

Episode 4: Awareness of Individuality

We discuss how most people are so closely concerned with themselves that they are not aware of their own individuality. When you have a keen awareness that you have found what makes you want to get up every morning and fills you with worth and knowing you are pursuing the desires of your heart, this is when you know you have found your individuality and your passion in life. You are no longer concerned with how it will be received, instead, you are focused on sharing your message, gift and talents with the world.

Episode 5: Pursuing Monumental Goals

I explore the importance of awareness and having a conscious mindset to receive what it is you’re manifesting in your life. Your mental muscles and awareness are often stronger in one area of your life than others; knowing your strengths and having patience is a key factor in seeing your goals come to fruition. I also share about all types of goals, they should be a mix of small to monumental goals. How we achieve them is by starting with a 30-day plan, then grow from there. The most important part of goal setting is knowing your WHY. You can accomplish all of your goals and live a life beyond your wildest dreams, when you focus on the present and believe you have the guts, compassion and confidence to succeed.

Episode 6:
Doing The Self Love Work & Learning Just To Be!

I share about how Self Love and just learning to BE are integrated. The more you practice self love the more peace you will come to find in BEing; which requires patience, perseverance and love. Loving yourself opens the gate to knowing yourself. When you know yourself then you can live in a state of BEing. I share being aware of outside influences and not allowing your mind to spiral into negative thought patterns.

Episode 7: Mob of Women & Preparedness

In this episode Dad (David McCallum) shares about being under siege by a mob of women while doing publicity in the 1960’s, followed by the great escape down the elevator shaft into an empty Herald Square in New York City, while his get away vehicle stalls. The key takeaway from today’s conversation with Dad is preparedness is the key to managing fear and will lead to an inner calmness. Did you know that when you relax the tips of your finders, your entire body relaxes? Tune into this entertaining episode reminiscing with David McCallum.

Episode 8:
Feeling Funky & How Self Love Can Pull You

It’s inevitable that on some days we will need to use the tools we have to pull us out of a funk. In this episode, I share the steps I use to pull me out of a funky vibe; while remembering that my mental state has an impact on my physical state.

I am grateful for my Dad, who happens to be working on his second book, and lovingly reminds me how life is meant to be enjoyed. He shares his wisdom on creating a beautiful life, while finding your inner sense of calm and security. We discuss how knowing what you want out of life will ground you and make you self aware so that you may pursue your passion and share your message. For me, this happened through life experiences. Life was rarely a straight and easy path. It was in the intense curves that I found tremendous opportunities and learned to hold space for myself to better understand what I was feeling, and it was through this process that led me to ultimate self love.

Change Is Inevitable, Thank Goodness!!!

Change is inevitable, I encourage you to count on it on a regular basis. Some change is something we can control, some we have no control over. The key here is; as we grow as women, that when we feel unsettled we recognize that emotion and identify what it is and step into our power of fulfilling the life we know we are meant to be living.
